At Tuana Academy, becoming a licensed nail technician means mastering the art, science, and safety behind every nail service. Our comprehensive program combines theory, technique, and hands-on experience to help you build a strong foundation in natural and artificial nail care. You’ll learn manicure and pedicure procedures, nail enhancements, e-filing, nail art design, and proper sanitation practices that meet professional industry standards.

Students gain real-world experience working with clients in Tuana’s on-site student salon, where you’ll perfect your speed, precision, and professionalism while learning how to create customized, high-quality services. You’ll also develop the business and communication skills needed to build loyal clientele and thrive in salon or spa settings.

Tuana’s experienced instructors guide you through every step from understanding nail anatomy and product chemistry to refining your artistry and safety standards. By the time you complete your required training hours, you’ll be fully prepared to pass your state board exam and begin your career as a confident, creative, and skilled nail professional.

Occupational Objective

The graduate should be able to take State Manicuring Exams(s) to obtain a license to practice Manicuring.
