The curriculum blends European techniques with modern trends, giving you the skills and confidence to create your own signature style. Along the way, you’ll also build essential business and client-care skills—so you graduate ready to work behind the chair, manage a salon, or even open your own.

This program is ideal for creative minds who want to master every aspect of beauty and turn their passion into a lasting career. Upon completion of state boards you will be fully licensed to work as a hair stylist, esthetician, and nail technician.

The Tuana Academy team strives to stay abreast of the most current industry trends.

Our goal at Tuana Academy is to help students pursue their goals of becoming beauty professionals. We are here for them every step of the way, from considering enrollment to graduation and beyond! A huge part of the process is our amazing admissions team. All of them have experience as beauty professionals, salon owners, and educators. They know exactly what it takes to thrive in the beauty industry and can help students achieve their dreams. They bring their real-life experience to the classroom. Our educators strive to provide up-to-date information along with access to the latest technology. We design our curriculum to help make you marketable to future employers, not just to sit for an exam.

Meet Denise, our incredible school director, and learn how she can assist you in achieving success at beauty school and beyond.

Denise has been in the beauty industry for nearly 25 years and an educator for 17 years. She has a lot of experience from her multiple careers, which include owning her own salon, being an educator, and being the director of two successful cosmetology schools. Her experience and skills leave her well-equipped to know how to best help each student with their dreams. Denise is dedicated to teaching students and encourages each one to make the most of their education. She is blessed to have a wonderful, caring staff; we have achieved what most schools dream of… a happy environment with caring and successful students who truly care about each other. In her spare time, she enjoys drawing, scrapbooking, gardening, and reading. Her husband and she are avid dog lovers, and along with our two fur babies, they foster dogs coming from Texas and Mexico.
